Position Summary:
- Siebkens Resort is looking for housekeepers to join our team. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and an eye for detail.
Specific Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Treat all co-workers, staff, vendors, and guests with respect. In other words, treat others as you would wish to be treated
- Work with team or independently on daily housekeeping and light maintenance tasks
- Clean guest rooms including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and balconies
- Strip dirty linens and towels, remove used supplies from guest rooms
- Clean public areas of Resort including restaurant, tavern, public restrooms, pool area
- Check each guest room, public area, stairways, lounges, etc. to ensure space meets Resort’s quality and cleanliness standards
- Ensure assigned daily tasks are completed and recorded. present records to supervisor before shift completion
- Ensure assigned work areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner Maintain inventory logs as necessary and ensure the department has the necessary supplies; notify supervisor when inventory drops below par levels
- The ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
- Ability to move heavy objects and carts
- Be courteous, friendly, and helpful to fellow employees, vendors, and guests
- Respond to resort guests’ needs in a timely and professional manner – follow up with Front Desk
- Communicate well with other departments of the resort
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify supervisor of any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Always maintain a professional appearance and tidy workspace
Wage: $10-12
