Your Role as a Student Teller:
As a Student Teller, you’ll bring enthusiasm to everyday banking tasks such as processing deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments. You’ll also have the opportunity to share information about products that help members manage their finances. At the end of each shift, you’ll ensure your cash drawer is balanced and transactions are accurate.

A Youth Apprenticeship (YA) Estimator will be introduced to all aspects of the role of an Estimator in construction. The YA will learn and be responsible for reviewing and evaluating bid specifications and drawings to ensure a successful bid and win of a project under direct and close supervision. This role is designed for individuals in a youth apprenticeship program with an interest in a construction career with an emphasis in estimating. Critical for success is the ability to work well with others and contribute to a team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
2. Assist Estimators in reviewing bid requirements for projects, ensuring all aspects of the project are documented and accounted for.
3. Assist in reviewing project plans, identifying required materials, calculating material quantities and factor in material waste. Work with the Procurement department to secure vendor pricing
4. Support in maintaining relationships with subcontractors, ensuring bids and work are completed timely.
5. Help in developing job schedules and forecasts.
6. Assist in tracking project budget to actual comparisons
7. Submit bid documents and sub buyout information to Project Managers in a timely manner. Review drawings with Project Management team and highlight areas of concern.
8. Other duties as assigned.

A Youth Apprentice (YA) Project Manager, under direct and close supervision, will serve as project support by assisting in planning, organizing, and implementing project management principles, while gaining hands-on experience. This role is designed for individuals in a youth apprenticeship program with an interest in a project management career, providing exposure to construction processes, subcontractor coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and compliance. Critical for success are the abilities to work independently and as a part of a team, meet deadlines, and anticipate and meet internal customer needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
2. Assist Project Manager (PM) in managing projects under direct supervision. Assist with key performance tracking.
3. Assist on essential project duties including cost and labor tracking, material submittals, subcontractor management, contract compliance, etc. that will optimize performance, productivity, and reduce costs.
4. Aid in facilitating subcontractor activities under PM supervision.
5. Maintain documentation of proper accounting, reporting of project costs, customer billing, scheduling, material procurement, and budgeting. Provide reports to PM as requested.
6. Assist PM with federal/state agency correspondence and reporting.
7. Review project timelines and assist with maintaining project schedules.
8. Attend construction related meetings to support project related functions.
9. Assist in the preparation of proposals and estimates, including take-offs.
10. Other duties as assigned.
