Follows written work instructions to process injection molded parts and assembly when required. Runs machines in semi-automatic and tends to fully automatic machines.

Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required and
• One to five years of related experience; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. This is normally acquired through two to five years of manufacturing experience. Injection molding experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Applications.
Language Skills
• Ability to read and interpret various Polyfab documents, which are written in English.
• Ability to write procedures, reports, business correspondence and work instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from all Polyfab business partners.
• Ability to document processes, procedures and process changes in English.
Mathematical Skills
• Basic understanding of algebraic concepts.
• With or without a calculator, must be able to accurately add, subtract, multiply, divide whole numbers and calculate figures/amounts such as fractions, percentages or ratios.
• Ability to apply these mathematical concepts to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
• Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Physical Ability
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds required.
• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for 8 hours per shift
Essential Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily.
• Abide by all policies, procedures & work instructions including but not limited to the Employee Handbook.
• Execute policies, procedures & work instructions as documented within Polyfab’s software system as appropriate to the position (RD106-033, QMS Training Matrix).
• Complete all appropriate paperwork in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.
• Strong emphasis on maintaining 5S. Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Runs machines in automatic or semi-automatic modes.
• Processing and packing parts per supplied standard work instructions.
• Notify supervisor when problems exist, or when instructions are not specific.
• Makes suggestions to supervisor for improvement to process/operator instructions to decrease costs while maintaining quality production.
• Notify supervisor and/or Material Handler when supplies/materials are needed for current production and next shift.
• Keeps productive at non-production functions such as cleaning, giving breaks, inventory audits, and other duties when so assigned by the supervisor.
• Verifies size, color, and quality of the parts per job paperwork and/or inspections.
• Clean and maintain work/press area.
• Fill out applicable paperwork in an accurate, timely, and efficient manner.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Acquire understanding and competence of Position Duties, and execute standard work through the successful completion of specific skills training matrix.
• Ability to run most single cycle and automatic jobs

Starting Wage: 1st shift – $18.25/hour, 2nd shift – $19.25/hour, 3rd shift – $20.25/hour
