In partnership with Advocate Aurora and NEWAHEC Northeastern Wisconsin Area Health Education Center, Inspire WI – Sheboygan Team is proud to offer an opportunity for high school students to gain valuable experience within the health care setting. The Healthcare Service Internship is a semester long program providing participants with 90 hours of volunteer work based learning at Aurora Hospital. This program is aimed at students with a strong interest in the healthcare field, who have already started their career exploration through high school classes, groups and clubs. This is a great step for students who are ready to experience the health care setting as they continue to develop their plans for life after high school graduation. The minimum age requirement for this program is 14. This opportunity is currently only available at:

Selected Applicants will be provided the following:
- Soft Skills Strategies for Success Course through NEWAHEC
- 90 volunteer hours in the healthcare setting
- 1/2 credit towards graduation requirements upon completion of 90 hours
- Job Shadows upon completion of 30, 60 and 90 hours. The student will have the opportunity to Job Shadow in a variety of departments within Aurora Hospital
