Waupaca County is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve in our Birth to 3 Early Intervention Program, working 32–40 hours/week with infants, toddlers, and their families.

In this family-centered role, you’ll support communication development and coach caregivers using the Primary Coach Approach to Teaming. This model emphasizes collaboration, connection, and empowering families to support their child’s growth.

Sanitary Inspector / Code Enforcement Specialist
Waupaca County Planning and Zoning Department
Grade 10 | $31.14 – $36.63

Waupaca County is seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist with the enforcement of sanitary and land use ordinances. This position supports the Zoning Administrator with on-site inspections, permit reviews, ordinance interpretation, and public assistance.
Key duties include:

Reviewing development plans and issuing permits

Inspecting Private Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (POWTS)

Managing the Sanitary Maintenance Program

Coordinating ordinance enforcement and reports

Serving as a liaison to county, state, and federal agencies

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in environmental health, soil science, planning, or related field (or equivalent experience)

At least two years of related professional experience

WI certification as a Certified Soil Tester and POWTS Inspector

Skills:
Strong communication, public service, and organizational skills; knowledge of land use regulations and environmental controls.
