Under the general direction of the In-Service Coordinator participates in 120 of instruction to obtain the Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
1. Daily homework and assignments and weekly quizzes.
2. Participate in lecture and lab practice, as well as follow directions and suggestions for improvement.
3. Use class time for class related activities only.
4. Provide supervised personal cares for various residents while communicating procedures to the residents.
5. Complete household charting, documentation, and reporting.
6. Daily proper disposal of refuse and storage/handling of soiled items.
7. Demonstrate integrity, maintain safety, resident rights, and professional behavior and appearance.
8. Work productively; strive for continuous improvement in nursing skills.
9. Manage time effectively and seek learning experiences
10. Transfer learning from classroom and modify actions as situations change.
11. Adhere to infection control standards.
12. Regular attendance and punctuality required.
13. Functions as a member of the team and participates in routine group assignments.
14. Performs related duties as required or assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be able to meet the above specifications and be 16 years of age or older.
